His disastrous plan calls to gut funding for programs that help hardworking people and instead line the pockets of the wealthy. The startling reality is Trump’s proposed budget would undermine initiatives serving the most vulnerable, leave children hungry or in poverty, and do an insurmountable harm to millions of American families. It’s abundantly clear that the only way we can stop these incessant attacks on workers, families, seniors, and the most vulnerable among us is by sending Donald Trump and Republicans packing in 2020. And that all starts with electing Democrats from the halls of Congress to the Oval Office. So I am coming to you with an urgent request: There are very real and detrimental consequences if Trump’s proposed budget becomes a reality and any amount you give will go directly toward taking back the White House and seats across the country. |
