No compensation is anticipated for service on the Commission, and Commissioners may not be paid officeholders or City employees. Appointments are to four-year terms.

Information collected in these nomination surveys will be shared with the Mayor and Council Members.
The Commission includes designated seats for members with demonstrated expertise in community parks and open space management; youth development or recreation programs; trails and San Joaquin River Parkway development and programming; and arts and culture programming.
This Saturday and Sunday, the Biden Campaign is asking you and a friend to call voters in high priority areas and battleground states around the country asking for their vote. With only 18 days left until the election, phone banking is one of the most helpful things Californians can do to support the Biden campaign (aside from voting early or giving to the campaign).
Signing up is simple, and phone banking only takes an hour and can be done from anywhere. Please bring a friend or family member and take an hour this weekend to support the election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Sessions take place every weekend until Election Day. You will receive a Zoom link following your sign up and a brief training is included in the session.
