Saturday, September 21, 1:30 pmInternational Day of Peace Join Peace Fresno in creating a human peace sign – to be photographed from above At 1:30 pm, Gather at the northeast corner of Blackstone & Nees, pick up a sign, and walk to the northwest corner of Fresno & Nees where we will form a human peace sign. Please bring an umbrella or two. The purpose of the action is to show solidarity with people living in war zones and with people everywhere working for peace and opposing war. We invite all to join us in a symbolic action recognizing the UN International Day of Peace
At about 2:00 pm, we will return to the corner of Blackstone & Nees for a peace rally to bring about awareness of the oppression and struggle in Kashmir.This will last until 4 pm. Stay for as long as you can.
