Hey folks,
This weekend, we’re kicking off the new year with canvass kickoffs up and down the district! We’ll be knocking on doors in Roseville, El Dorado Hills, and Sonora, with more events in other parts of the district coming in the next few weeks. (Let me know if you would like to host a canvass in your neighborhood!)
Brynne is gonna kick things off at each event, and in huge news: we’ll have yard signs ready so make sure to drop by to pick yours up this weekend!
If you could circulate to your networks, that would be much appreciated! We’re looking to start things off with a big bang to show our campaign’s momentum!

I wanted to share an event we’ll be having in Fresno on 1/11. It’s a half-day training for anyone interested in getting involved with the campaign. I’ll also be there that weekend. The sign up link is here: https://www.mobilize.us/californiaforwarren/event/180264/. Please feel free to share it with anyone you think might be interested.
Can you volunteer at least 5 hours / week on the campaign? Can you organize at least two events / month in your community? Then join us for our Warren Weekend, a half-day training on the nuts and bolts of being a Community Team Leader for Warren!
Community Team Leaders play a key role in building the grassroots organization we need to win the Democratic nomination for president. They recruit local volunteers, set up voter contact and visibility events like door knocking, phone banking, tabling, and more! The campaign works directly with Community Team Leaders to provide advice, training, and support to develop a national network of local activists, representing Elizabeth in their hometowns/local areas.
This is a half-day training from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

We did it.
It was a close one, but in the final days of December this team rallied together to help us crush our end-of-quarter fundraising goal. I’m so grateful for your support.
I look forward to sharing the specifics very soon, but know that with your help we will post our strongest fundraising quarter yet. That’s huge — especially given that David Valadao has been raising massive sums of corporate PAC cash over the last few months.
We’ve never had an easy road in our fight to bring progressive change to the Central Valley. We’ve been counted out, overlooked, and underestimated from the start. But as we head into 2020, we do so confidently. And that’s because of your continued support.
Counting on individual donors instead of special interest cash means we can run a true grassroots campaign that’s centered on the needs of Central Valley working families. That’s how we defeated the Republican establishment in 2018, and with your help, that’s how we’ll keep this seat blue in 2020.
I hope your new year is off to a strong start! Thanks again for stepping up.
