Dear Resident,

The Fiscal Year 2022 budget was adopted yesterday!  I want to thank all of our residents who participated in our community budget meetings, emailed, and called us to help identify our collective priorities. I would like to ask for patience as we get ready to Rebuild District 3! We will be beginning with our oldest neighborhoods and those that have the most needs. To see a breakdown of the FY2022 budget, check out our extended budget details on our Facebook post.

As a reminder, the next City Council Meeting will be held next Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 9:00 A.M.  As always, you can watch the  Fresno City Council Meeting live on our Facebook pageCMAC, or on Fresno.PrimeGov.comComments for agenda items can be emailed to clerk@fresno.govYou can find the council agenda on the City’s website.

Respectfully,

Inyo Street
Construction in Progress

Concerts, conferences, and live entertainment are around the corner again, and we are preparing our theatre and convention corridor. Look out for construction in progress on Inyo Street (from O street to Van Ness Ave). We appreciate your patience during this time as we work to Rebuild Fresno.

District 3
Youth Workforce Program

The next generation is stepping up and helping our communities by providing District 3 residents with a complimentary curbside address painting. The Youth Workforce Program is an employment opportunity to keep our youth engaged in positive activities.

For most teens, their first job experience has introduced new skills like teamwork, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and time management. This cohort will continue through the end of June and our District 3 Office plans on providing more youth workforce programs in the future.

What has been your favorite memory of the Youth Workforce Program?

“My favorite memory was doing a demo curbside painting for the press conference and helping my peers learn how to do it.”
– Jordan Jackson

“The teamwork that we show towards one another while we’re here has been my favorite memory of the Youth Workforce Program”
– Brain Velasco
