I appreciate each and every one of you who took my calls (up through late Saturday night), attended a campaign event, and donated online. We hit our fundraising goals and I couldn’t be more grateful for your support and belief in this campaign.
There are going to be tough days in front of us, but I’m confident we can bring some much-needed change to the Central Valley — and it’s more critical than ever that we fight for a new, local voice in Congress.
This week, Donald Trump declared DACA “dead” amid a spike in deportation raids across California. As our immigrant communities are being terrorized and our businesses being devastated, all our current representative can offer is that he is, “monitoring the situation.” I don’t “monitor” things, I get things done. I will bring real leadership and results for the hard-working families here in the Valley.
