We’re falling short

Elizabeth’s turning out huge crowds across the country and talking about real policies for big, structural change, like the Ultra Millionaire Tax and her plan for Universal Child Care. But there’s one area where we’re falling short.

As of today, we’re 23% behind where we need to be to hit our February fundraising goal. To get back on track, we need 122 donations from California today.

Will you make one of them? Chip in $3 or more – we can’t do this without you.

Let’s be real: Out of all of the candidates, Elizabeth’s probably never going to raise the most money.

She’s spent her entire career standing up to big banks, giant corporations, and powerful special interests. She’s not taking any contributions from PACs or federal lobbyists, and she’s not spending her time cozying up to wealthy donors who can write big checks. You can’t say that about all the other candidates in this race.

We will be outraised. We will be outspent.

We just can’t let ourselves be drowned out.

So we’ve laid out monthly fundraising goals to keep building this grassroots movement.

And if we fall short of a single one of them, there will be voters we won’t reach and opportunities we’ll miss.

This campaign is only possible because of people like you. There isn’t a Super PAC ready to swoop in and swarm the early primary states with TV ads.

Instead, we rely on grassroots supporters and the donations that come in online from emails like this one – $3 at a time – to hit our goal.

Because if we come up short, we won’t be able to keep building a grassroots movement that’s strong enough to take power from the wealthy and well-connected and put it back in the hands of the people, where it belongs.

This isn’t a big monthly deadline, but we do have a chance – today – to get back on track for February. Will you make one of the 122 contributions we need from California?
