For voting to fix our state’s crumbling infrastructure, Republicans have launched a deceitful and pathetic bid to reverse the will of the voters in Senate District 29 by recalling him. California Democrats are fighting back against Republicans’ lies, but we’ll need your support to keep Senator Newman in his seat and retain our supermajority in the State Senate. Before being elected to the State Senate, Josh Newman spent years working to improve the quality of life for veterans. Now in the Senate, Senator Newman is fighting for our progressive vision as Democrats — including proudly voting for SB 562, California’s single-payer, Medicare-for-all healthcare legislation.
