Three and a half years of fighting to secure access to the ballot box for all Californians, together with outreach and organizing throughout the state, and your strong support resulted in my first place finish in yesterday’s primary.
In a crowded field of eight candidates, I received over 51% of the vote, a strong showing that would not have been possible without you. While there are still many ballots to be counted, take a look at the initial results.
But the campaign isn’t over. In California, the top two vote getters advance to the November general election. We have five months to continue to communicate to all voters in California and earn the opportunity to serve another term.
