The Washington Post recently called Democratic Attorneys General the “down-ballot officials who could freeze the Trump Train in its tracks” and said AG races “could have as profound an effect as anything else that happens in November.”
As California’s Attorney General, Xavier is leading the nation’s legal efforts to stop so many of President Trump’s disastrous policies and we can’t afford to lose his leadership this November.
As Attorney General, Xavier has already won nearly two dozen victories that forced the Trump administration to back down from policies that would hurt our communities.
As the Washington Post wrote, those kinds of concrete results can be hard to achieve in Washington, putting AGs on the frontlines of stopping the worst of the Trump agenda.
But our GOP opponent has said repeatedly he wants to see California “standing down in the state’s defense against the Trump administration.”
