Undermining the United States Postal Service threatens to undermine free and fair elections. We must stand up to President Trump’s outright attacks on our democracy.
Associated Press:
“President Donald Trump frankly acknowledged Thursday that he’s starving the U.S. Postal Service of money in order to make it harder to process an expected surge of mail-in ballots, which he worries could cost him the election.”
During the pandemic, USPS has become even more important for our families — delivering everything from medication to ballots.
Despite what the President might like to believe, the United States is still a democracy. In a democracy, we vote — and every American should be easily able to vote by mail if they would like to.
That’s why I’m asking, team: Can you sign your name to oppose President Trump’s alarming attacks on the USPS and mail-in-voting? We need to send a clear message that these attacks will not be tolerated.
Thank you,
Xavier
