Usually, when presidential candidates go to California, it’s just for a spree of fancy private fundraisers. But Elizabeth doesn’t do those.

Elizabeth spent this past weekend talking with thousands of people and growing our movement.

On Friday night, she hosted an organizing event with about 6,500 people in Oakland.

It’s clear: People are hungry for big, structural change. And Elizabeth has a plan to make it happen.

After the event, Elizabeth stayed for three hours to talk with supporters and take a selfie with anyone who wanted one.

And on Saturday, Elizabeth fired up the crowd at the California Democratic Party Convention:

“Here’s the thing: when a candidate tells you about all the things that aren’t possible, about how political calculations come first, about how you should settle for little bits and pieces instead of real change, they’re telling you something very important: They are telling you that they will not fight for you.”

“Not me. I’m here to fight.”
