We are having a great time and community support is growing every day! If you want to be part of our team, I encourage you to become part of our Friendly Neighbor program. A Friendly Neighbor is someone who supports voter engagement in their neighborhood for the June 5th election. Tuesday, April 17th, will be our next Friendly Neighbor meeting in District 7. Contact our Campaign Manager, Alex Ramos-O’Casey, if you would like to join the Friendly Neighbor program.
We are also continuing our neighborhood walks and phone banking every day from now until Election Day. Potluck Phone Banks take place every Wednesday from 4pm-8pm and Weekend Walks are every Saturday from 10:30am – 6:00pm and Sundays 11:30am – 7:00pm. Calling and walking is how we win!

¡Viva Vendors! – Save the Date – April 27, 2018
Save the date for a special vendor appreciation night, ¡Viva Vendor!, open to all on April 27th at 5:30pm in District 7! Stay tuned for more details. Viva Vendors is part of our on-going efforts to celebrate the vibrant community and small businesses that operate in District 7.
Young Girls of Color Rock!
Joining our campaign are two young girls from South East Fresno who will be our Artivism Director and Youth Organizer for the campaign. They are the next generation of leaders. Together, Amira and Naima, along with their best friends, started The Poderosas, a young girl of color paint crew. Their mission is to create art that tells their stories about what it’s like to grow up in South East Fresno. Other youth are welcome to join and participate in the next Poderosas paint party on April 20th at 5:00pm. The art pieces created by the Poderosas will be featured in our campaign events and campaign materials. For more information contact Alex.
