Yesterday, we had two pieces of big news for our campaign.
First, the California Labor Federation, representing 2.1 million workers, endorsed our campaign!
I’m excited to work with them over the course of this campaign and within the US Senate to continue advocating for workers, immigrants, and every California family.
Second, after meeting with the San Francisco Chronicle’s editorial board for an hour and a half, they published this:
“De León would be a far more liberal senator than Feinstein. He said he would support a range of progressive policies, including a national single-payer health insurance system.”
I come from humble beginnings. I’ve fought for everything I’ve had in my life, and I’ve dedicated my career to fighting for California families like mine.
I’m running my campaign the same way — scrappy as hell — and we’re currently on a 2 month long tour, traveling from corner to corner of California.
I respect Senator Feinstein’s decades of service. But she doesn’t own that Senate seat, and I’m not running against her — I’m running to lead in this critical moment for our country.
We need a Senator who shares the values of the Californians on the streets and in the town halls of our state who are leading the resistance to this dangerous president.
