I’m Kathy — TJ’s wife, and the head of the Cox-Murphy household (just ask our kids).
I know that health care access is a huge issue in our community. As a pediatric ICU physician, I see firsthand the consequences and injustice of our current health care system. Many of the kids I take care of in the ICU would never be there in the first place if they had access to health care.
That’s why I’m proud that TJ has spent the last 7 years securing investment to establish clinics across the Central Valley to provide health care access where it’s needed most.
Today, those clinics deliver upwards of 100,000 appointments to local families each year. That’s a lot of children, working families, and seniors who now have a chance to get the care they need to live healthier lives.
TJ wouldn’t brag about this, but bridging the gap between private investors, federal dollars, and local stakeholders was no small task. It took determination, know-how, and perseverance — the same qualities he’ll utilize in Congress to secure access to healthcare for everyone.
Tonight is TJ’s first big FEC deadline since he launched in CA-21. We’re closing in on our fundraising goal, but we still need your help to get over the top. Can you chip in a donation of any amount to help us hit this mark and send TJ to Congress?
Thanks for your support!
Kathy Murphy, M.D.
