Rural City Manager Jose Ramirez

to Make Major Announcement About 2022 Election

Joined by his family and community members of Fresno County

Excited to hit the campaign trail, Rural City Manager Jose Ramirez (D-Selma) will join community advocates to announce his candidacy for the Fresno County Board of Supervisors, District 4.

When: Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 10 AM

Where: Courthouse Park, 2281 Tulare St, by the Fresno County Hall of Records at the corner of M & Tulare Streets, Fresno

Jose Ramirez is the son of immigrant farmworkers, and was raised near Easton, where his family still lives. With almost twenty years’ experience as a City Manager, Jose Ramirez has a deep understanding of the needs of our rural communities and region. A public servant, proven executive, and small business owner, Ramirez has faced the challenges of rural Fresno County head on. The first in his family to go to college, he holds a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration from CSU Fresno, with an emphasis on city and regional planning and a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. At a time when politics gets in the way of sound public policy, Jose Ramirez’s leadership, technical expertise at handling complex municipal budgets, and history of community involvement, makes him the best candidate to challenge the status quo and find real solutions to improve the lives of residents in Fresno County Supervisorial, District 4.

We need a Supervisor to represent us who will listen to and understand our communities’ needs and concerns, and who will cooperate with us to find solutions. Jose Antonio is that person.

If time permits, we hope to see you Thursday.
