If one thing is clear, it’s this: it’s up to progressive leaders and the grassroots movements to ensure that working families get a fair shake. That’s why I’m running for Lieutenant Governor of California and why I’m asking for your support. When Republicans like Paul Ryan attack “progressives” like me in California — they do it because they know the biggest threat to their right-wing agenda is a successful progressive agenda. It’s why I’m doing everything in my power to make California an example for the country — from protecting workers’ rights to healthcare rights to immigrant rights to clean air and clean water rights. Yes, we can do more for our families. Yes, we can have healthcare and great schools. No, corporations and billionaires don’t need another tax break. Thanks,
