This isn’t acceptable

When women and families don’t have access to a full range of healthcare services, we all lose. 

That’s why it’s so alarming that mothers, teens, and families could walk into “women’s health clinics” that preach abstinence and don’t even offer birth control. 

While our efforts to block the Title X gag rule move forward in court, the Trump administration is reportedly allocating millions of dollars to fund these “clinics.” 

Patients who want contraception might end up at one of these Trump-funded clinics that fail to provide it. And with the gag rule in place, doctors are banned from referring patients for abortion –– and even providing key health information to women.

In Congress, I was unwavering in defending the right to choose. And as Attorney General, I won’t stop fighting President Trump when he risks the health and safety of women and families.
