This is our 11th hour

This is our eleventh hour.

For far too long, in far too many places, our leaders ignored and denied the evidence.

And now, our future is in peril. Climate change is the existential threat to our way of life. I’m running for president because if we don’t act right here and right now, it’ll be too late to prevent the worst consequences.

I’m running for president not out of a sense of pessimism, but because of a deep sense of optimism. I believe in our ability to unite around a common mission to defeat climate change.
