This is a moment in history

Yesterday’s vote has historic consequences, but it was vitally important that this representative body take a firm stand against abuses of power.

As a history professor, I made sure that my students understood the importance of being active in our electoral system and that their representatives work for them.

I taught my students that since our country’s foundation, we have served as a beacon to the world because of a commitment to progress, justice, and a promise to create a more tolerant and fair society.

As a society we will never achieve this vision if we fail to elect representatives that fiercely protect the rule of law and hold the president accountable.

Your continued support of this campaign is a signal to our representatives that we are unafraid to vote them out when they fail to abide by the will of the people and the constitution.
