Improving access to high quality health care has been a foundation of my career. From authoring single payer legislation in Congress to challenging the Trump Administration’s attempts to dismantle the Affordable Care Act to fighting anti-competitive practices among California’s hospitals, I’ve fought on behalf of California’s patients and providers to improve the health of all.
That’s why I’m proud to have earned the endorsement of the California Nurses Association and its partner, National Nurses United.
In their announcement, they noted my many efforts at “guaranteeing healthcare for our patients, our families, and our communities.”
The nurses are fighters, and with their support, I pledge to keep moving California in the right direction and protect the rights of all Californians.
