I want to give you an update on our ambitious end of month fundraising goal for February. We did it — we raised over $500,000 from grassroots donors in all 50 states!
This is an incredible accomplishment that YOU made happen. From Maureen in Maine to Catherine in Wisconsin to Juan in Hawaii, this team stepped up. Like I’ve said before, this campaign is a homegrown one. How far we go will be determined by your support.
Right now, you’re showing the country that we have real momentum.
Together, we have the opportunity to do great things for America. We can work to make universal health care a reality. We can bring down the rising costs of prescription drugs. We can put digital rules of the road in place.
I promised to always tell you the truth, so I won’t sugarcoat it — this campaign won’t be easy. We aren’t going to have the most money. We probably won’t have the most TV airtime. And we aren’t going to have some political machine to save us.
If I have your support though, none of that matters. We can build a real, lasting campaign based on ideas, our shared love of country, and a commitment to getting things done. Hitting this first end of month goal was a giant step in the right direction.
