Today the California Democratic Party announced the results of the Statewide Officer races, and I’m honored to have been elected as a Vice Chair.
When I first decided to run, I was excited to speak with Democrats from every county. But what blew me away was just how tenacious and powerful our state’s organizers are. At every single meeting I attended, there were organizers who were fighting for their communities, and it moved me in a way that was unexpected.
Whether you voted for me or not, I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for taking the time to hear out my candidacy and thank you for all of the hard work that you have put into fighting for a more inclusive, transparent, and accessible party.
I’m honored to have earned this seat and I’m looking forward to working with each and every one of you to improve our party, push our progressive values, and defeat the recall!
