Dear Democrat,
Yesterday, I spoke on the floor of the Assembly in support of protecting California’s coast against offshore oil drilling, which would devastate our environment. Together with my colleagues in the state legislature, I coauthored a resolution condemning the Trump administration’s intentions to make California’s coastline open for sale.
The coast represents homes and jobs for millions of Californians. We must prevent expanded offshore drilling for ourselves and for future generations.
I want to thank the environmental activists who came to the Capitol yesterday to rally in opposition to renewed offshore oil drilling on the California coastline. Our voices will be heard.
