As the old political cliché goes… show me your budget, and I’ll show you your priorities. Well here are just two line items in Trump’s budget that make his priorities crystal clear. Spoiler alert: It’s not the American people.

⇒ $500 billion in cuts to Medicare.
⇒ $1.5 trillion in cuts to Medicaid.

I spent the last seven years building health clinics across the Central Valley. Any federal budget that steals health funding from seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income children to build a wall and pay tax cuts for the richest Americans is dead wrong for our community.
