Central Valley Leadership Round Table (CVLRT) and Over 100 Leaders Across the Central Valley Endorse Esmeralda Soria for Congress

 
FRESNO, C.A. – Today, Esmeralda Soria announces another major endorsement from over 100 Central Valley leaders for her campaign for Congress in California’s 16th Congressional District, earning the support of the Central Valley Leadership Round Table.
 
“We need new leadership. We can’t support leadership that treats business as usual and want fresh eyes and ears,” said Central Valley Leadership Round Table. “We want someone who understands our issues and doesn’t just provide cosmetic solutions for bigger complex problems. We need to address affordable housing, educational and job opportunities throughout rural and urban communities. We believe the current incumbent has lost touch with these communities.”

 
“I am honored to have the support of the Central Valley Leadership Round Table,” said Esmeralda Soria. “It’s past time that we had someone who will fight in Congress for both our urban and rural communities here in the Valley. From housing to healthcare, I will be an advocate for every community no matter where they live.”

The Central Valley Leadership Round Table is a grassroots organization with over 100 leaders across the Central Valley. This coalition of leaders come together to hold elected officials accountable on issues that affect rural communities, such as drinking water, education and technology, housing, and health care access.

Esmeralda Soria is currently running for Congress in Congressional District 16, which covers Fresno, Madera, and Merced County. She is on the Fresno City Council where she represents District 1. Esmeralda is fighting for health care for all, college affordability, and campaign finance reform.
