The Fresno County Democratic Central Committee has not endorsed any candidate in this race.
Coretta Scott King once said, “Struggle is a never ending process. Freedom is never really won, you earn it and win it in every generation.”
Yesterday, people got to work winning it for the current generation.
“A trans woman beat the guy who introduced the bathroom bill. A gun victim’s boyfriend beat a delegate with an “A” grade from the NRA. A civil rights lawyer who sued the police department just became the top prosecutor in Philadelphia. Something’s happening here, folks.” Charlotte Alter, National Correspondent for Time Magazine.
In Virginia, women led the charge to take back their state House of Delegates. Democrats flipped 14 seats. All 14 seats were held by men. 10 of those races were won by women.
The desire for change, and a movement to create governments of the people, by the people and most importantly FOR the people again is building across the country. And in many places, it is being led and supported by women and millennials.
This is one of the many reasons I am incredibly proud to share my most recent endorsement from the Cal Berkeley Democrats. Their belief in my leadership, and desire to join our team, is what keeps me fighting each and every day to become California’s next governor and give the children and young adults of this state the same opportunities that were once given to me.
