We did it.

It was a close one, but this team rallied strong in the final days of the month to help us crush our end-of-quarter goal. We look forward to sharing our fundraising results very soon, but please know that thanks to your support, we are in a strong position heading into July. That’s especially important now given that we expect a new opponent to announce against us at any moment.

We’ve never had it easy in our fight to bring progressive change to the Central Valley. Our campaign has been counted out, overlooked, and underestimated from the start. The truth is, families in my community are used to that feeling, but we’re fighters. And we’re going to keep fighting to make sure that Central Valley ranchers, farmers, teachers, and working families continue to have a true advocate in Washington. That’s how we defeated the Republican establishment in 2018, and with your help, that’s how we’ll keep this seat blue in 2020.

I hope you have a great 4th of July with friends and family. I’m looking forward to this short break, but after the holiday, it’s back to work.
