Dear Democratic Central Committee Chairs,

I am saddened to send this email, especially as we celebrate our great nation today. This morning, it came to our attention that members of our Party are engaging in political maneuvering to negatively influence our primary process by painting me as anti-labor, a characterization that is distinctly inaccurate. We are thankful for your leadership in guiding our party for success next November.  It is for this reason that I am reaching out to make you aware of these disappointing games.

When I was younger, I made a handful of offhanded, sarcastic comments on social media.  These comments were inappropriate and I take full responsibility for them. However, they do not reflect my views on American labor, our unions or our workforce.

As a businesswoman and daughter of a union member, I am intimately familiar with the challenges our workers face and how to broker solutions that elevate both our economy and workers. I am the only candidate – Democrat or Republican – who has created many jobs; not just any jobs, but well paying jobs with healthcare, parental leave and generous benefits. I am also the only candidate in the race who has been a part of conversations between government and businesses doing real work to evolve and expand our unions for the current and future economy.

I fiercely believe in the value and dignity of work. My campaign is centered on creating more economic opportunity for everyone in our district. My focus is on creating jobs that are sustainable as our economy shifts and on investing in broadband infrastructure, education and healthcare to support our current and future workforce. In Washington, I will work closely with our unions and businesses, advocating fiercely for dignified jobs for our workers.

This year, we as Democrats have a fighting chance to win our district and replace Tom McClintock. Thank you for your continued leadership. I look forward to working with you to strengthen and unite our local party, and maintain an elevated level of dialogue.

If you have any questions, please contact Bridgette or me directly.

Thank you and God Bless America,

Brynne
