Alabama made history last night, electing their first Democratic U.S. Senator in more than 20 years.

Doug Jones’ historic win was a victory for decency and justice, and a clear referendum on Donald Trump’s regressive policies of hate.

Dr. Asif Mahmood is running for lieutenant governor to fight for the same progressive wave that’s sweeping all across our country after last night’s big win. We have to make the most of this momentum — now it’s our turn to make history in California.
