We could be headed for a rematch.
The National Journal just reported that former Rep. David Valadao is ready to jump back in the race for CA-21 against TJ Cox.
In 2018, TJ’s win over Valadao was one of the closest House races in the county. The margin of victory was just 0.8%. You may recall in the months running up to Election Day that every single poll and pundit had written us off completely — but we never gave up.
With a surge of grassroots support from individual donors like you, we countered Valadao’s attacks and were able to spread the word about TJ’s pro-worker, pro-farmer, and pro-health care policies.
Central Valley voters rejected the Trump-Valadao agenda to strip health care from millions and give tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy, but Valadao still thinks he has a shot. We know he’s dead wrong, but we need to send an early message that we’re a force to be reckoned with. So we need to ask:
