Dear Friends and Supporters,
The safety of our community is one of my top priorities. As a parent and policy maker, I have worked to improve public safety in our city to ensure a brighter future for our children. Every family deserves to feel safe in their home and our children deserve to walk to school and play in our parks free of fear.
As a Community College Trustee, I invested in basic infrastructure needs, such as providing better lighting in dimly lit areas and increased the number of officers on campus. I also successfully expanded first responder’s academies and secured $80 Million for a modern training facility to serve our region. These investments helped improve the safety on our campuses and will continue to do so for years to come.
As your councilmember, I will fight to develop long-term, innovative, and comprehensive solutions for a problem that keeps affecting our city. I am committed to continue to invest in programs that improve our public safety, will address our infrastructure needs, and will ensure our police officers and firefighters get the dedicated resources they need to provide our neighborhoods the safety we deserve.
