Senator Melissa Hurtado Endorses Bobby Bliatout in Race Against Devin Nunes
Fresno, CA- Bobby Bliatout for Congress has announced the endorsement of Senator Melissa Hurtado today in his race for California’s 22nd Congressional District against scandal-plagued incumbent Devin Nunes. Senator Hurtado joins an overwhelming coalition of local leaders urging voters to support Bobby Bliatout. 

In a statement released alongside the endorsement, Senator Hurtado commented “Bobby Bliatout is a trusted leader and health care advocate. Throughout his life, he has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to stand up for underrepresented communities and our most vulnerable residents. I’m proud to support Bobby Bliatout for Congress.”
“I’m honored to have the support of Senator Melissa Hurtado,” said Bobby Bliatout, “I want to thank her for all her tremendous work on behalf of Central Valley families. I look forward to working with Senator Hurtado to ensure the Valley gets its fair share from both Sacramento and Washington.”

Bobby is the endorsed candidate of the California Democratic Party, and to date continues to dominate in local endorsements, with supporters including Victor Lopez, mayor of Orange Cove; Jose Sigala, mayor of Tulare; Greg Gomez, mayor of Farmersville; Ruben Macareno, Farmersville City Council member; Miguel Arias, Fresno City Council member; Blong Xiong, former Fresno City Council member; Daren Miller, Fresno County Board of Education trustee; Brandon Vang, Sanger Unified School District Board trustee; John Leal, State Center Community College District trustee; Dr. Perla Soria, Lindsay Unified School District #4 trustee; Laura Soria Cortes, Lindsay City Council member; Ivet Soria, Lindsay Hospital board member; Eliseo Gamino, Firebaugh Unified School District trustee; Espi Sandoval, Kerman City Council member; Jose Ornelas, San Joaquin City council member; Steve Ly, mayor of Elk Grove;  and Allen Warren, Sacramento City Council member. 

Bobby has been endorsed by the following organizations: California SEIU, Communications Workers of America local 9408, Central Valley Leadership Round Table, Tulare County Stonewall Democrats, San Joaquin Valley Democratic Club, Sanger Democratic Club, Asian Americans for Good Government, and the Asian American Action Fund. 

Bobby has also been endorsed by civil rights legend, Dolores Huerta and Former Rep. Mike Honda. 
The 22nd Congressional District covers large portions of Fresno and Tulare counties. The primary election is March 3, 2020.
