Once in a while on a campaign, you have moments you know you will never forget.
I had that moment this past week at an event where a little girl stood up strong, before a crowd of dozens and asked me, “What can a girl like me do to help a strong girl like you win?”
I told her that she was doing it — showing up and being involved, even at such a young age. That’s how we win this.
So much of this campaign for Governor is about inspiring that next generation of leaders and citizens in our state. That’s why this moment was so meaningful for me — it reminded me of why I do what I do.
We’re taking our campaign to the people, campaigning all across the state. I believe that all parts of our state deserve to hear from those asking to lead California as Governor.
