In celebration of Women’s History Month in March, Councilmember Esmeralda Soria will host her 7th Annual Women of the Year Awards, honoring women throughout Council District 1 who exemplify courage, strength, vision, and are passionate about empowering our community.

Nominees must live, volunteer or work in Fresno Council District One. District One is located in west-central Fresno and includes neighborhoods around Tower District, Fresno City College, Fresno High School, Quigley Park, Lions Park, Central High School, and neighborhoods west of Highway 99 (south of Shaw Avenue).
Submissions are due Tuesday, March 2, 2021. You can email a paper nomination to District1@fresno.gov or mail to Councilmember Esmeralda Soria at 2600 Fresno Street, Fresno, CA 93721.
