The Fresno County Democratic Central Committee has not endorsed any candidate in this race.
Today, twelve of the fourteen House Republicans from California knowingly voted to sabotage the financial security and health care of millions of Americans in order to hand permanent corporate tax breaks and giant tax cuts for the most wealthy.
It’s time for our first New Year’s Resolution. In 2018, let’s make sure that California voters hold their representatives accountable for their vote on this tax scam.
These California Republicans blatantly and shamelessly prioritized tax breaks for corporations and the most wealthy over the healthcare and economic security of their constituents.
Californians stand to be hurt even more by this scam. California homeowners will be hit hard with the immediate and devastating provisions of this bill, making it harder for hardworking families to make ends meet. That is unacceptable.
Throughout 2017, we’ve seen our resistance prevail in so many state elections. Let’s make sure we continue the momentum in 2018, as we hold every lawmaker accountable who voted for this tax scam.
