Dear Friends:

This coming Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 6:00 pm we are having a meeting at Fresno Fire Station 15 located at 5630 E. Park Circle, Fresno CA 93727 (North of the Intersection of Clovis Ave and Butler).

This is a very important meeting to refine the scope of this project in an application we are preparing for a $8.5 million grant from Proposition 68 and $400,000 application from CAL-FIRE Grants.

We also need to prepare a presentation to the Fresno City Council Meeting scheduled for May 16, 2019. (We are asking for the afternoon) PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP IN MAKING THIS PROJECT A REALITY. WE NEED THE CITY OF FRESNO’S SUPPORT IN THIS PROCESS. Council Member Luis Chavez and other Council Members are helping in this important step. BUT WE ALL NEED TO BE PRESENT TO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE.

Please encourage other friends that support parks and soccer fields to join us in this important community meeting. We need to be ready to attend the Fresno City Council Meeting to show are strong support for this project. Please let me know that your planning to attend.
