This is a bare-knuckle power grab by Republicans who are desperate to lie, cheat, and steal their way back into relevance in California. If they succeed, we not only lose our ability to pass the most crucial legislation requiring two-thirds legislation (like constitutional amendments) — we lose a champion for veterans who proudly voted for SB 562 and for a bipartisan effort to repair our crumbling roads.
