The Trump administration released their budget earlier this week – and the proposal is more cruel than we could have ever imagined. He wants $750 billion in cuts to Medicare & Medicaid, $214 billion in cuts to food stamp programs, & $240 billion in cuts to infrastructure spending. All this to pay for the $1.5 TRILLION tax cut Republicans passed last year, most of which goes to the top 1%.
This plan is an attack on American working families.
These draconian cuts Trump and his Republican friends are proposing go against everything we stand for. They’re reckless.
Trump’s irresponsible proposal doesn’t reflect our priorities here in the Central Valley.It’s just plain wrong.
Our elected officials must stand up and reject Trump’s plan.
