The contrast between me and my opponent couldn’t be more clear:
I just wrapped up my first and only debate with David Valadao.
The contrast between me and my opponent couldn’t be more clear:
I’ll fight to protect health care access for all Americans and won’t surrender to insurance companies when they fight to drop coverage for those with pre-existing conditions. I will defend the promise we made our seniors when we passed Medicare and Social Security and I refuse to let Trump run roughshod over farmers in this district with his ridiculous trade policies.
Meanwhile, my opponent, David Valadao, made it clear why so many in this community are frustrated with his leadership. He has no answer for why he’s voted time and again against his own constituents — especially on health care repeal. Nor does he have an answer for why his loyalties remain with Trump instead of those he is supposed to serve.
I’m proud of our work tonight, but we have so much work to do in these final 12 days.
Let’s flip the 21st,
