The LGBTQ+ Programs and Services at the Cross Cultural and Gender Center, Fresno State would like to invite you and your constituents to our World AIDS Day events! We’d appreciate it so much if you could send out a email blast to your listserv and post it on your social medias. We would love for community members to attend these events- especially our featured event with Planned Parenthood on Dec. 5th. Thank you so much for all your involvement and help! LGBTQ+ Programs and Services at the Cross Cultural and Center Center would like to invite you to join us for our World AIDS Day events.

 

We will be tabling for World AIDS Day on November 30, 2017 from 12:30-3:30pm in front of Taco Bell on the Fresno State campus. There will be a resource fair featuring on-campus health services and community resources. There will also be free red ribbons and and a social media contest for prizes!

 

Our featured event is a Safer Sex Workshop, led by Planned Parenthood health educator, Heather Meyers. She will be discussing how to have safer sex, PrEP, and HIV rates in Fresno. It will be on December 5, 2017 from 1-2pm in Thomas 110. There will be food provided.

 

Please feel free to invite your colleagues, students, and anyone who may be interested. We are willing to provide sign-in sheets for any courses providing extra credit upon attendance.
