Fresno City Councilmember Luis Chavez (District 5), and Fresno County Supervisor Sal Quintero (District 3) announce the joint City/County Orange Avenue Project. The partnership includes an investment of $1.3 million dollars to repave Orange Avenue between Church and Jensen Avenue. This effort has been years in the making, and is about reinvesting and rebuilding our older neighborhoods. Orange Avenue is a major corridor in District 5, with 350+ jobs serving several businesses, and residents who use this street daily, this is an important investment for pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the area.
