I’m more of a budget and financial person than I am an art critic. And I’ve gotta tell you, we have real decisions to make.
So it’s great that Jay’s giving away a painting to a supporter like you. But this race is heating up. Expectations are growing, and polling ahead of the next debate threshold deadline is critical. If we want to stay on the debate stage — if we want to keep putting climate change front and center in this primary — Jay’s the only one who’s going to do it.
Now, budgets are important. But the artwork is just fun! And I’m the proud recipient of some of Jay’s artwork — have you seen it?
I love all of it, but my very favorite painting of his is Elvis, from “Elvis and the Elves”:
It just embodies everything I love about Jay. He’s funny, caring, and committed to fighting climate change even in a children’s book! This is one he did for his grandchildren, about the “mystery of the melting snow” — pretty fun, right?
