While I’ve been focused on the issues, my opponent has used me as a scapegoat to deflect from serious accusations made against him. Rather than address the allegations against him, Dyer instead issued the following statement:

“This…is nothing short of a political smear…My political opponents and long-time haters…attempt to tarnish my long record of successful results by slinging political mud at me and my family.”

I’ve spent my career seeking justice for victims of crimes — I refuse to re-victimize alleged victims for political gain.

I am not responsible for journalists asking him about this allegation. I’m running my campaign with integrity and working on solutions to the issues that the people of our community face every day.

I’m proud to run a campaign that everyday Fresnans can identify with — a movement of grassroots supporters investing in a better future for all of us.

I won’t lose focus on what we’re all working toward, no matter how many times my opponent tries to push me off our path.
