I think the way he’s conducted himself while Jerry Dyer, Devin Nunes, and Fresno Republicans have thrown attack after attack his way, each one more shameful than the last, is one of the reasons we all believe in his campaign so much.
But here’s the problem: his Republican opponent is fundraising off the charts — and since we’re refusing corporate PAC and developer money, it’s hard for us to compete. Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to keep their grip on local politics.
I’m meeting with Andrew in the morning, and I’m going to have to give him the bad news that we’re way off track to hit our goal in time. Unless 74 of you step up before tomorrow morning to make a grassroots donation.
