I need your help today to fight back against PG&E.
The Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) pumped $149,000 into an “independent expenditure” campaign that began airing TV ads earlier this week in a desperate effort to defeat my campaign for Attorney General. The ads airing on FOX TV are designed to increase votes for a Republican AG candidate to help Xavier Becerra face a Republican in the runoff.
Why is PG&E backing Xavier Becerra? Because PG&E doesn’t want to be held accountable.
According to CalFire, PG&E is responsible for at least three wildfires in Northern California. PG&E is supporting a bill to reduce or eliminate its liability for wildfires. I oppose PG&E’s efforts to escape liability. And as Attorney General I will continue to fight for fire survivors and consumers and hold PG&E accountable.
PG&E wants to stop me from being elected Attorney General.
We are ten days away from the election. Californians are casting ballots every day. Your voice has never been more important than it is now.
