This morning, Governor Gavin Newsom took to the stage and laid out a bold, progressive vision for California in his first State of the State Address.
He talked about how, together, we can fight for the Californian dream. He discussed how strong our state is, from our economy to our budget surplus — but also the challenges we must work together to tackle. And he made it crystal clear that we will not stand for Trump’s continued assaults on our communities and our values.
Here at the Party, we’re fired up to get to work alongside Governor Newsom and achieve this progressive vision for our great state.
In his address, Governor Newsom laid out plans for how we can tackle some of the biggest challenges California faces.
From fighting to protect our environment and achieve affordable health care for all to addressing our growing housing crisis and infrastructure needs, one thing is clear — there’s a lot for us to do.
Together, working alongside Governor Newsom and our other elected officials, I know we can keep building a California that truly works for all of us.
