| In just the past week, we have traveled from Yolo and Sacramento to Santa Clara, Mono/Inyo, Nevada, Placer and Los Angeles Counties. Meanwhile, volunteers have begun setting up their own events; tabling at Farmers’ Markets and County Fairs across the state while also making calls to recruit more volunteers.
We have received endorsements from former State Senators, current and past Assemblymembers, numerous County Supervisors, Superintendents, Mayors, City Councilmembers and School Board members as well as hundreds of everyday voters eager to see Delaine Eastin lead our state. As Delaine said to me the other day, the hardest part is the fundraising. We don’t need the most money, but we do need enough. I know most of our volunteers and supporters aren’t the millionaires and billionaires funding the other candidates. But will you commit to becoming a monthly, $29.20 or $92.00 donor right now?
