Fiona Ma’s July Jaunts Around CA

It was truly an honor to recognize Captain John Meffert of the Avalon Fire Department and Hoag Hospital Nurse Karen Herold for their heroism when an Orange County couple’s plane crashed on Interstate 405 in June. Captain Meffert and Ms. Herold’s selfless deeds ensured there were no casualties, and the couple is now safe and recovering.

I was also honored to receive my official membership plaque for 2017 from the West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. Inspired to be in the company of so many great business and community leaders.

On J‌uly 2‌9, I visited the Pacific Academy in Irvine to discuss the future of digital currency and its impact on our economy’s future with some of our state’s most brilliant young minds.

Toured the Lomo Cold Storage facility with the Micheli family in Live Oak. Did you know that Sutter County is the largest producer of peaches in California? Peaches are in season and these peaches will be in cans within 8 hours.

I had a great time with some truly amazing women entrepreneurs at the Silicon Valley Leadership Breakfast sharing stories about climbing the corporate ladder, work-life balance and ways to help each other to succeed.
