Last week, the Fresno City Council passed my Fancher Creek Parkway Act. A process that started six months ago, and included 2 cleans up events with over 150 people in attendance, and multiple community meetings. I’d like to thank our community partners, especially the original “Friends of Fancher Creek” neighbors who each signed their name this project (It was entered into City of Fresno Archives). Together, we have officially designated the Fancher Creek Parkway. This project will include walk/bike trails and green space areas for future generations to enjoy. I will be appointing a community/resident committee to help in the planning of the design, activities and features within the parkway.. Stay tuned! Thank you!
Bring out your furry friends to Southeast Fresno’s first Dog Park (At Al Radka Park). We will be unveiling the dog park name and awarding prizes for the best dog costume (Big, Medium, Small Dogs)!
